AIKEN, SC- JOYCE GILLEY, 76, of Aiken, SC entered into rest, Friday, January 3, 2014. A memorial service will be conducted 2 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in Bethel Baptist Church with the Reverend Brancie Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Gilley was born in Baltimore, Maryland, having made Aiken her home for the past 7 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she attended Sunday School. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, Bingo, and Monopoly. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Wyatt, Dover, DE and Sandra (Alfred) Henderson, Gibsonton, FL; two sons, Frank T. (Sandra) Gilley, Augusta, GA and Donald W. (Pam) Gilley, Aiken, SC; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Fred Bowen, Richmond, VA; and a brother, Carl Doney, Church Hill, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Frank Gilley and her mother, Edna Fuller. Memorial contributions may be directed to Bethel Baptist Church, P.O.
