AIKEN, SC – THELMA RAWL MOSELEY, 84, widow of Wilson Woodrow Moseley, died Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Georgia Regents Medical Center, Augusta, GA. Mrs. Moseley was a daughter of the late Thomas E., Sr., and Eron Taylor Rawl. She was born in Lexington, SC and lived most of her life in Aiken. She worked for United Merchants in the Bath Mill and was a cake baker. Mrs. Moseley was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sons, Glen W. (Patricia) Moseley, Joseph B. (Sara) Moseley; five grandchildren, Joseph B. (Melanie) Moseley, Jr., Wilson Bradley Moseley, Jacob Moseley, Tiffany (Tommy) Holley, Annette (James) Busbee; three great-grandchildren, Caleb Donaldson, Lane and Will Holley, soon to be great-grandson, Jackson Busbee; two sisters, Emma (Ralph) Snelgrove, West Columbia, Frieda (Bob) Monk, Lexington; two brothers, John (Louise) Rawl, Lexington and Phillip (Girley) Rawl, West Columbia and a sister-in-law, Hazel Rawl, Red Bank. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Moseley was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ellen and Wade Barker and a brother, Thomas E. Rawl, Jr. The family will receive friends 4 to 6 PM Sunday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home on East Pine Log Rd. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with The Revs. Bob Byrne and Jeff Erbskorn officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Cone, Craig Ladd, Chris Hagen, Tim Chapman, Steven Woiczechowski, Keith Sandifer, Patrick Laorenza and Blake Faulkner. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Requiem Choir of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 961 Trail Ridge Rd., Aiken, SC 29803.
