Callie "Puddin" Valentine

Aiken-Callie “Puddin” Valentine, 89 died Friday, June 20, 2008 at Azalea Woods Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bam Briggs officiating. Mr. Valentine was born in Saluda County, South Carolina on September 11, 1918 to the late Will and Gertie Valentine. He was a lifelong resident of the Shaws Fork community a farmer and friend to all. He worked most of his life for Mackey Scott and Sons. His brothers Amos and Robert Valentine both of Aiken survive him. He is preceded in death by his brothers Buck, Chester, Perry, and M. C. Valentine and sisters Nora Valentine, Sally Mae Pollard, and Elizabeth Sims. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be directed to Ocean Grove Baptist Church, 12 Ocean Grove Road, Aiken, South Carolina, 29805.
