AIKEN - Mrs. Eloise Floyd Fair, 88, passed away Sunday, January 26rd, 2014.
Mrs. Fair was born in Tillman, SC, a daughter of the late George Dewey Sr. and Maude Smith Floyd. She had been a resident of Aiken since 1952, and worked as a real estate agent for many years.She loved all of her large family and her wonderful friends! She was devoted to God and a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church! She was known as a gracious, loving and giving person. Eloise always enjoyed nature, tending her greenhouse, flowers and pets.
Eloise, Ray and their three girls enjoyed numerous, camping, boating, beach, square dance and other destination trips together.
Eloise’s favorite trips were to the beach or her homestead in Tillman S.C. where she could spend time with her brothers and sister. Eloise and Ray enjoyed many happy years after retirement and took numerous bus tour trips together.
Eloise will be missed by all that knew her on this earth!Heaven will be a better place for having her there.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Friday January 31 at St. Johns United Methodist Church with the Reverend Dr. George K. Howle officiating.The family will receive friends after church service in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be held prior to the service in Sunsent Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Chris Fair, Kit Wilson, Trent Klugh, Ted Wells, Stan Wells and Brian Murray.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her daughters, Lana (Andrew) Murray Jr., Eldon, MO, Karen (Robert) Klugh, Aiken, Nexann Smock, Graniteville; grandchildren, Pamela (Steve) Fox, Cynthia (Bryan) Dominique, Brian (Jacqueline) Murray, Trent (April) Klugh, Kristine (Alex) Baker, Amber (Spenser) Small; great grandchildren, Kyle Fox, Abigail Fox, Christian Dominique, Laurynn Kennedy, Annabelle Baker and Emma Small; a sister, Virginia Wells, Tillman, SC; a brother, George Dewey Floyd Jr., Tillman, SC.
Mrs. Fair was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ray Fair Jr., her son, Reed Allen Fair, and her brother, Grady Floyd.
