AIKEN, SC – ALBERT CLEMENT STASKO, 93, husband of the late Naomi McDonough Stasko, died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Hitchcock House.
A native of Homestead, PA, Albert was a son of the late John and Anna Yocubik Stasko. He graduated from Munhall High School and The University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Stasko proudly served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corps. He was an electrical engineer and retired from Western Electric. He lived in the Aiken area for the last 18 years and was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Naomi Gouker, Aiken, SC, Gloria Stasko, Huntingdon, PA ; two sons, Stanle Stasko, Joppa, MD and Albert John Stasko, Essex, MD; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Stasko, Scottsdale, PA.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM Saturday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, Pittsburgh, PA. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
