Aiken, SC-Robert Sheldon Matthews, 83, died at home Jan. 29, 2014. Loving husband of Suzanne Dubie Matthews. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Tandy Sheldon Matthews and Ruth Butler Mathews. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and retired from Columbia Nitrogen and Westinghouse, SRP. Mr. Matthews was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Survivors besides his wife include two daughters, Marjorie Matthews, Tulsa, OK, Steffeny Matthews, San Diego, CA, two sons, William (Mary) Matthews, Atlanta, GA and Stuart Matthews, Greenville, SC.
