Ronald Dean Reynolds, Sr.

NEW ELLENTON, SC – RONALD D. REYNOLDS, SR., 64, passed away Friday, February 07, 2014 at his residence after a long battle with cancer. Ronnie was the son of E. Dean and Katie Humphries Reynolds. He attended Aiken Public Schools, graduating from Aiken High School in 1967. He later attended the University of South Carolina and was an avid fan of the Gamecock football team. Ronnie worked in the wholesale beverage industry with A.B. Beverage Co., Aiken Produce Co., and Beverage South for twenty eight years before spending fifteen years in the manufactured housing industry in Aiken and Augusta. Survivors include a daughter, Sydelle Young; a son, Ronald D. Reynolds, Jr. (Mark McAlister); and two grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler Young. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday (tonight) at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home on Pine Log Rd., in Aiken. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with The Rev. Brancie Stephens officiating. Pallbearers will be Billy Key, Dan Graves, Tony Brittian, Charles Key, Joe Moore and Louis Burnette. Memorial contributions may be directed to Savannah River Cancer Foundation, P.O.
