AIKEN – Mrs. Bessie Morton Emeneker, 91, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. SERVICES WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, FEB. 15, 2014 at 3 PM IN BETHANY CEMETERY. The Reverend Charles Jenkins will officiate. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Mrs. Emeneker was a lifelong resident of Aiken, and daughter of the late Otto and Fannie Cook Morton. She was a homemaker, and an active member of Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah E. (Alex) Collie, Aiken; grandchildren, Teri (A.J.) Sineath, Summerville, SC, Charles Collie, Aiken; great grandchildren, Price and Jesse Sineath; numerous nieces and nephews; and two special caregivers, April Pannell and Jeannette Herron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Emeneker, and her siblings, Rita Gomillion, Ruby Aull, Edward, Sam, Jay, Robert and Otto Morton.
