NORTH AUGUSTA, SC – PATRICIA ELNEVA “PATTY” RABON – WOODS, 53, beloved wife Edward J. Woods, died suddenly, Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Georgia Regents University Medical Center, Augusta, GA. Born in Charleston, SC, Patty was a daughter of Everett W. and Loretta Johnson Rabon. She grew up in Aiken, then lived in Ft. Lauderdale for a number of years before returning to Aiken in 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to her husband Ed, include her parents, Everett and Loretta Rabon, Aiken; a daughter, April Coffman, North Augusta; a son, Philip Bossler, Pennsylvania; a grandson, Ayden Coffman; a sister, Carol Shieder (Al), Roundo, SC; three brothers, Wallace Rabon (Darlene), Aiken, Rodney L. Rabon (Paige), Aiken, Billy Crosby (Joanie), Orangeburg, SC, three half-brothers, Frankie Smith, North Charleston, SC, Cary Brauer (Debbie), Walawala, WA, Ronald "Bud" Brewer, Jr., North Charleston, SC. Patty was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel Coffman, and a half sister, Karen "Kaye" Harrell. The family will receive friends Monday, February 24th beginning at Noon at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with The Rev. Dr. Chris Masters officiating. Private interment will take place in Southlawn Cemetery.
