Harold Lynn Fox

AIKEN, SC – HAROLD L. FOX, 68, beloved husband of Sarah Lakins Fox, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his residence. A native of Morristown, TN, Harold was a son of the late Samuel and Pearl Martin Fox. He was a carpenter for many years in the Morristown and Knoxville TN area before moving to Aiken in 1985. He worked in construction at the Savannah River Site Nuclear Facility for several years before moving to SC. Harold was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Morristown, TN, a mason, and was an avid bass fisherman. Survivors include his wife Sarah; a son, Robert (Kathy Bodiford) Fox, Williston, SC; two granddaughters, Laura and Laney Fox; two sisters, Patricia (Gaston) Cline, Morristown, TN, Joyce Fox, Morristown, TN; a brother, Howard (Loretta) Fox, Russellville, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Charles Brewer and two brothers, Jimmy Fox and Gerald Fox. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday evening at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11 AM at Mayes Mortuary downtown chapel, Morristown, TN followed by interment in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8 PM in Morristown, TN at the funeral home.
