Lynn Barry Zody

AIKEN – Mr. Lynn Barry Zody, 71, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday at South Aiken Church of God with the Reverend Bruce Fox officiating.  Interment will be held privately. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the USC Aiken Men’s Basketball Team. Mr. Zody was born in Waynesboro, PA, a son of the late Paul Barton and Eva Mae Wishard  Zody.  He moved to Aiken in 1978, was a member of the Aiken Business Alliance, and was a big supporter of USC Aiken athletics. He is survived by his loving wife, Caroline Royston Zody; a daughter, Kimberle Ruppert, Cumberland, MD, and a grandson, Zachary Ruppert.  He is also survived by his honorary grandchildren Caden and Kendal Cribb, and his beloved pets Rolly and Ginger.
