Arthur Shepard Lamprey

AIKEN, Mr. Arthur Shepard Lamprey, Jr. 86, died Sunday, March 30, 2014. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 2 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Anglican Church with the Reverend George Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Lamprey home following interment. Mr. Lamprey was born in Salem, MA, son of Annie and Arthur Lamprey. He had been a resident of Aiken since 1972 and was a member of All Saints Anglican Church. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Art was a model of selflessness, working a lifetime to raise and support his family then dedicating his retirement to the care of his beloved wife. With a sharp sense of humor and a unique outlook on life and faith, Art will always be remembered with a smile by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by two daughters Amy A. Lamprey, Nancy E. Lamprey; two sons William F. (Susan) Lamprey, Richard A. (Frankie) Lamprey; two grandchildren, Brenna L. Lamprey and William Jared Lamprey.
