AIKEN – Mr. Lloyd Brunson Willing 84, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014
The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Shiloh Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Taylor Wells officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Eddie Willing, Butch Creed, Ron Seigler, Billy Seigler, Junior Force, Larry Force, Kenny Franklin, Norman Franklin and Mike Busbee.
Mr. Willing was a lifelong resident of Aiken, a son of the late Hiram Nathaniel and Lottie Emma Jordan Willing. He was the owner of Willing’s Used Cars for over 50 years, was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, the Used Car Dealers Association of SC, and the Willing Pond Group. He also served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his two daughters whom he had with Jimmie Ruth Willing, Beverly Willing Booth, Aiken, Bonnie Willing (Ronnie) Maxwell, Aiken; grandchildren, John R. Booth, Jr., Robbie Lloyd Booth, Gregory E. Toole, Jr., Makenzie Cude, Ashley Cude, Allen Maxwell, Ryan (Angelica) Maxwell, Lindsey (Alex) Pitts; great grandchildren, Kristen Cumbee, Kieler Booth, Kaedon Booth; sisters, Frances (Broadus) Busbee, Aiken, Helen Griffin, Aiken; two brothers, H.N. Willing, Jr., Aiken, Edward “Pee Wee” (Jewel) Willing, Aiken; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his four sisters, Minnie Lee, Ruth, Odessa and Marie.
