John Robin Seamster

CHARLESTON, SC – Mr. John Robin Seamster, 60, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 in Charleston, SC. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave. Reverend Phillip Lee will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Mr. Seamster was born in Richmond, VA, a son of the late Harold and Jean McAlister Seamster. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Psychology and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He had lived in Mt. Pleasant for the past year, and was a lab technician. He loved the outdoors, hiking, biking, being at the beach, blue grass music, old movies and loved to laugh. Survivors include his sister, Jeanie (Butch) Roberson, Aiken; niece, Claire Roberson; nephews, Matt and Mitch Roberson. In addition to his parents, a sister, Bonnie Colleen Seamster, preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cedar Creek Church, 3001 Banks Mill Rd., Aiken, SC 29803.
