Harry F. Wood, III

AIKEN, SC - HARRY F. WOOD, III, 52, son of Patricia and Harry Wood, Jr., died Friday, April 18, 2014 at his residence.Born in Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID, Harry was a son of Harry Fowler Wood, Jr. and Patrecia Jean Wood. He graduated from Kubasaki DOD High School, home of the Dragons, in Okinawa, Japan, and held three associate degrees.  He served in the United States Armry working with the Lance Missle in Germany.  Harry had a career in transportation and was an Episcopalian. He will be remembered as a loving son and brother. We will miss him. In addition to his parents, Harry is survived by a sister, Jean Renee Reiter, of Charlotte, NC and his niece; Lauren Nicole Campbell of Saint Charles, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Harry’s name may be directed to the United Service Organizations (USO), P.O. Box 96322, Washington, DC, 20090. Funeral services will be private.
