Elvin Wilson Bodie

WINDSOR – Elvin Wilson Bodie, 66, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave., with funeral services beginning at 3:00 PM with Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating.  Interment will be private. Mr. Bodie was born in Aiken, a son of Isabell Mixon Bodie of Montmorenci, and the late Hubert Wilson Bodie.  He was a carpenter, avid fisherman and was saved by the blood of Jesus Christ in his final days.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Shelby Wood Bodie; daughters, Rosemary Bodie, Denniston, KY, Dana & Wes Smallwood of Means,  KY; step children, Allen Bodie, Windsor, Shelby Ann Willis, Windsor; grandchildren, Elizabeth Heizer, Abigail and Aaron Smith; great grandchildren Aleigha and Alexis Heizer; & Aireanni Smith sisters  Mary Harris and Brenda Gray of Aiken; brother, Thurmond Bodie, Aiken.
