Lance Stanley Riesenberger

AIKEN – Mr. Lance Stanley Riesenberger, 75, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014.   A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday at South Aiken Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Dr. Christopher Crotwell officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.   Mr. Riesenberger was born in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Laura Ann Uthe and Stanley Leonard Riesenberger.  He had been a resident of Aiken for the last 5 years.  He was a graduate of Purdue University, served as an Officer in the United States Navy, worked his entire civilian career for and retired from General Electric Company, was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of Aiken's Outing Club, and loved the ocean.   He is survived by his wife, Beth Beeland Riesenberger; two sons, Jeffrey Scott (Elizabeth) Riesenberger, Mason, OH, Brent Corey (Jennifer) Riesenberger, Sarasota, FL; grandchildren Sarah, Adam, Anna, Molly, William and Troy Riesenberger.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Aiken Regional Medical Center's Hospital Auxiliary, 302 University Parkway, Aiken, SC 29801   Mr. Riesenberger’s online guest book may be signed at www.shellhousefuneralhome.com   SHELLHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 924 HAYNE AVE., AIKEN, SC To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Lance Stanley Riesenberger, please visit our flower store.
