AIKEN, SC – EFFIE MAE GIBSON, 78, widow of Millard Byne Gibson, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.A native of Millen, GA, Effie worked as a seamstress in textiles in Griffin, GA, prior to moving to Aiken 37 years ago. She was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered by her family as a wonderful, loving, mother, grandmother and sister.Survivors include six children, Anthony Byne Gibson, Sr. (Donna), Griffin, GA, Carol Gibson Harrell, (Earl) Barnesville, GA, Betsy Gibson Mack (Charles), Aiken, Sandra Gibson, Aiken, Ricky Gibson (Angela), Aiken, Tara Gibson Lipps (Robert, III), Barnesville, GA; seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Georgie Bragg Pyron (Thomas), Elijay, GA; two nephews, Michael Bragg (Anita), Stockbridge, GA, Russell T.
