Geraldine Seigler Daugherty

AIKEN, SC – GERALDINE SEIGLER DAUGHERTY, 71, beloved wife of James D. Daugherty, died Tuesday, May 7, 2014 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native and life-long resident of Aiken, Geraldine was a daughter of the late Ashton and Mildred Gregory Seigler. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to her husband James, include a daughter, Angela (Jake) Coe, Aiken; two sons, David (Denise) Widener, North Augusta, Gerald Daniel Daugherty, Jacksboro, TN; eight grandchildren, Olivia Widener, Emily Duggan, Nikki Jay, Thomas Jay, Taryn Daugherty, Selina Daugherty, Stephen Daugherty, Joseph Daugherty; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Jeffords, Aiken; two brothers, Carroll Seigler, Melvin Seigler, both of Aiken. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o’clock Thursday evening at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon at the funeral home with The Rev. Taylor Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alan Daugherty, Robbie Jeffords, Barron Koon, Stephen Daugherty, Robert Voigt and Joey Voigt.
