AIKEN, SC – AUDREY B. DuBOIS, widow of Henry DuBois, was born November 22, 1920 in Red Star, AR to John Wesley and Minnie Belle Whitmire McFarland. She went to be with the Lord in Aiken, SC, August 1, 2008.
Mrs. DuBois lived most of her adult life with her husband and children in Boynton Beach, FL. She made her home in recent years with her daughter Maxine and her husband Dr. Henry L. Chennault in Edmond, OK, and since 2003 in Aiken, SC. She was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church and the Osteen Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her children, Maxine (Henry L.) Chennault, Aiken, SC; Raymond (Donna) DuBois, Palm City, FL and Allan DuBois of Boynton Beach, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mark (Beverly) Chennault, Las Vegas, NV; Mike (Becky) Chennault, Nanjing, China; Glenn (Amy) DuBois, Palm City, FL; Catherine DuBois, Los Angeles, CA and Brent (Donna) DuBois, Palm City, FL, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, parents, and a brother, Ray McFarland.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 6:30 PM in the chapel of Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC, with The Rev. Dr. Henry L. Chennault officiating. Interment will be Thurday at 10:00 AM in the Ralston Cemetery in Afton, OK.
The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home following the service.
