AIKEN, SC – Marjorie Naomi Goodwin Eubanks, 83, left her earthly home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 27, 2014. Mrs. Eubanks was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace A. Eubanks, her daughter, Connie Waterhouse, her parents, Arthur and Mae Goodwin and her sister, Carolyn Mayberry, and brother Kenneth Goodwin.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM at Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Rev. Marion Britton officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Charles Eubanks, Cleve Raines, Dave Poythress, Mark Gibson, Jesse Gibson, and Christopher Poythress.
Mrs. Eubanks will be greatly missed by her daughters, Linda (Stephen) Harris of Alabaster, Al., Sandra (Timothy) Smith of Aiken; grandchildren, Jennifer (Andreas) Stahl of Einhausen, Germany, Katie (Jeremy) Rant, Mountainburg, AR, Andrew Harris of Alabama, Matthew (Stephanie) Waterhouse of Chattanooga, TN, Elizabeth (Steven) Cottle of Montevallo, AL, Seth Smith of Aiken, great grandsons Jonathan and Thaddaus Stahl of Einhausen, Germany, brothers and sisters, Iradell Goodwin, Gloverville, Haskell (Lois) Goodwin, Geneva (Jack) Thompson and Emily Eubanks all of Aiken.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be directed to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund, 164 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Ridge Spring, SC 29129.
