Frank Dennis Adgate

AIKEN - Frank D. Adgate, born January 2, 1949 in Warren, Ohio, died suddenly at his home in Aiken, South Carolina on July 19, 2014. He was 65 years old. Frank proudly served in the United States Navy for 23 years and retired in 1990 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. He was a Vietnam veteran. He was also employed as a Lead Medical Technologist at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia since 1997. He is survived by his wife, Bobbi Adgate, a daughter, Julia I. Adgate, a stepson, Rocco Cardarelli, 3 brothers, Tim Adgate of Florida, John Adgate of Warren, Ohio, and Thomas Adgate of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Adgate, mother, Marilynn Adgate, and stepmother Barbara Adgate. There will be a memorial service at Shellhouse Funeral Home in Aiken on Saturday, August 2 at 4 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project of Augusta, Georgia or the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Road, Aiken, SC, 29801.
