Robert "Bob" Clinton Scott

Aiken, SC – Robert C. Scott passed peacefully on July 29, 2014 surrounded by his two loving daughters, Marion Readett and Robin Greene. He is now reunited with Josephine, his wife of sixty years. Bob was born in Bayonne, NJ on Dec. 13, 1932. He received his BA from Ole Miss where he was a proud member of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. After serving as a Captain in the Marine Corp he furthered his education at the University of Michigan where he completed his Juris Doctorate. Bob practiced law for many years then went into banking for the balance of his career. Bob was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time in the company of his many dear friends and his two adoring daughters. Bob will also be missed by his lifetime friend Barbara Thomas Stierlen. The family would like to thank Hospice Care of Tri-County as well as his caregivers for their care and support. No services will be held at the request of the family.
