AIKEN – Mrs. Maralouise Henninger Thornsberry, 72, died Tuesday September 9, 2008 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave. Reverend Robert T. Byrne and DM Beth Barkhau will officiate. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Mrs. Thornsberry was born in Warren, OH, a daughter of the late Bert and Jennie Vandergrift Henninger. She was a resident of Aiken for the past 22 years, and was a homemaker. Survivors include her two daughters, Louise (Jerry) Snow, Warren, OH, Catherine (Richard) Miller, Niles, OH; two sons, David (Donna) Thornsberry, Ladson, SC, Mark (Laura) Thornsberry, Aiken; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Audrey Fleming, Jefferson, OH, Barbara Bube, Niles, OH; a brother, Norman Henninger, Niles, OH; daughter in law, Susan Thornsberry, Ladson, SC. In addition to her parents, her husband, Clayton Thornsberry, and a son, Robert T. Thornsberry, preceded her in death.
