Kaye Darlan Williamson

AIKEN – Mrs. Kaye Darlan Williamson, 80, died at home with family on Thursday, August 28, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church with the Reverend Grant Wiseman and the Reverend Dale Klitzke officiating. Internment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will then receive friends in the Stevenson-McClelland building. Mrs. Williamson was born in Atlanta, GA, a daughter of the late Felix and Phyllis DeBrick Kellum. Her early life was spent in Warm Springs, GA and Bluefield, WV. She attended Beaver High School in Bluefield, Marshall College, and subsequently graduated from Bluefield College. She worked as a secretary and medical staff secretary for the Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. She lived her later life in Charlottesville and Aiken, SC. She was a member of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church and was an active member and co-director of the Altar Guild. Mrs. Williamson is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas G. Williamson; daughter, Sarah Williamson, Winston-Salem, NC; sons Allen (Ellen) Norfolk, VA; David (Lurena) Hendersonville, NC; and grandchildren Courtney (Robbie) Adams, Skyler Williamson, and Elijah Williamson.
