AIKEN, SC- GLENDA NELSON POSEY, 57, beloved wife of Ricky Posey, entered into rest Saturday, August 30, 2014 at her residence. A native and life-long resident of Aiken, SC, Glenda was the daughter of Thomas Marvin Feagin and Carolyn Mitchell Feagin. Glenda loved to paint, gardening, and especially loved nature. She will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Survivors in addition to her husband of 34 years, Ricky, include, two sons, Steven Lamar Jay and wife Aimee Jay, Langley, SC and Thomas Marshall Jay and wife Shelly Jay, Aiken, SC; four grandchildren; a sister, Paula Clark, N. Augusta, SC; and three brothers, Ted Whestone, of Johnston, SC, Marty Feagin, of Steifeltown, SC, and Tommy Feagin, of Wagener, SC. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Carl Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in historic Graniteville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. After graveside departure, the family will receive friends at the residence of Tommy and Teresa Posey, 116 Powell St., Graniteville, SC.
