AIKEN, SC – PEGGY HOLLEY HEATH, 72, beloved wife of Phillip R. Heath, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Aiken County, Mrs. Heath was a daughter of the late Gleaton and Corrine Utley Holley. She was a homemaker and a member of Hollow Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband Phillip, include a son, Raymond (Denise) Heath, five daughters, Judy (Cliff) Bridges, Teresa (J. R.) Willing, Phyllis (Robbie) Garvin, Gail (David) Keller and Robyn Heath, all of Aiken, a sister, Gloria (Cliff) Carter, Jacksonville, FL, eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 PM at Hollow Creek Baptist Church with Rev. David Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Bridges, Michael Bridges, Brian Heath, Phill Heath, Taylor Garvin and Michael McManus. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC.
