AIKEN, SC- JACQUELYN GODDARD FERGUSON, 82, beloved wife of the late Fenton F. Ferguson, died Friday, September 26, 2014 at her residence.
A native of Calderwood, TN, Mrs. Ferguson was the daughter of the late Luther and Emma Smith Goddard. Mrs. Ferguson retired as a receptionist in the medical field from the offices of Dr. Eugene McManus and Dr. Enoch Tsai.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan (Ken) Horres, Judith Cooper, and Teresa Heslip, all of Aiken, SC; a son, Randall (Delia) Ferguson, Windsor, SC; five grandchildren, Sean Walker, Monica (Jeff) Triece, Colin Heslip, Jennifer Garrett, and Richard Ferguson; five great-grandchildren, Aidan Thompkins, Zachary Triece, Jeremy Triece, Caiman Walker, and Kaya Walker; and a host of step-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Levels Baptist Church. The Reverends Clint Bartlett, Jimmy Wingate, and Waco Cotney officiating. The family will receive one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Regency Hospice for the excellent care provided to Mrs. Ferguson.
