David George Brandt

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC – Mr. David George Brandt, 59, loving husband of Patricia Grubbs Brandt, passed away Thursday, October 02, 2014. A lifelong resident of North Augusta, Mr. Brandt was a son of Jo Oulla and the late George Brandt. He attended the Spartanburg School for the Deaf and Blind. After moving back to Aiken County, Mr. Brandt worked for in the textile industry for the Sibley Mill in Augusta and then the Graniteville Textile Mill. He loved art and to travel, with his favorite destinations being Pigeon Forge, TN, Gatlinburg, TN and Walt Disney World. He will be remembered as a loving husband and son. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sister, Donna Brandt of North Augusta. A memorial service is being scheduled at Millbrook Baptist Church, Aiken at a later date.
