Genie Paschal Harvey

AIKEN - Mrs. Genie Paschal Harvey, 84, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday at First Baptist Church, Aiken, with the Reverend Dr. Fred W. Andrea, III officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor. Interment will be private at Aiken Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Harvey was born on Dec. 6, 1929, in Dawson, Georgia, to the late Elisha Corley and Mamie Dean Paschal. She was a graduate of Agnes Scott College with a degree in economics. She retired as a payroll and accounts payable supervisor for Kimberly Clark. She was married for 58 years to the late Raymond Singletary Harvey. She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Harvey Holmes, Johnston, SC., Jan ( Rob) Bromley, Aiken, and Raye (Donald) Gaddy, Hoover, Al; grandchildren, Brannon (Andy) McComb, Valarie (Shannon) Davis, Evan (Amy) Bromley, Collin Bromley, Jeff (Tara) Gaddy, Jaclyn (Russell) Pate; great grandchildren, Isabella McComb, Charlotte Grace McComb, Alexandra Gaddy, Adam Gaddy, and Troy Pate. She was a beloved mother and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. The family would like to express their gratitude and deep appreciation to the wonderful employees of Cumberland Village, Harbor Chase Assisted Living, and Agape Hospice.
