Beulah Dorris Pollard

AIKEN, SC – BEULAH DORRIS POLLARD, 84, beloved wife of Robert L. “Bob” Pollard, died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Leesburg, FL, Mrs. Pollard was a daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Teston Dorris. She was a homemaker and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Osteen Sunday School Class and a former member of the Sanctuary Choir. Survivors, in addition to her husband Bob, include a daughter, Lynn (David) Lucas, Erwin, NC, two sons, Michael Pollard, Charleston, SC, and Bruce Pollard, Aiken, five grandchildren, Timothy Pollard, Frances Pollard, Lewis (Erin) Pollard, Becky (Ian) Morris, and John Lucas, three great-grandchildren, Isaac, Karis and Elijah Pollard, and a sister, Betty Cram, Mobile, AL. Mrs. Pollard was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane and a son Jeffry. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Millbrook Baptist Church, with The Rev. Mark Epps officiating. Entombment will follow in the Aiken Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC.
