AIKEN - Mrs. Wilma Louise Bingham Ewing, 73, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 18, 2014, at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Arturo Dalupang will officiate. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Joseph Ewing, Thomas Randy Kirkland, Christopher Ryan Ewing, Michael Adam Ewing, Benjamin Thomas Conner and Andrew Robert Corsey.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Catholic Women Association, and the Legion of Mary.
Mrs. Ewing, a resident of Aiken since 1971, was born in Roswell, NM, a daughter of the late James and Margaret Hale Bingham. She was a restaurant manager, a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, a member of the Catholic Women Association, The Adoration, and the Legion of Mary. Known for her sacrificial love, she was a dutiful wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her beloved husband, John Joseph Ewing; daughters, Jane Marie (Leonard) Drummond, Aiken, Deborah Ann Kirkland, Aiken, Frances Margaret Coleman, Warrenville; sons, John Joseph (Patti) Ewing, Anderson, SC, Mark Stephen (Sue) Ewing, Aiken, Christopher Alan (Lisa) Ewing, Warrenville, Stephen Paul Ewing, Aiken; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Carol Janowiak, Lynwood, MI.
