Edith Ross Abendschein

AIKEN – Ms. Edith Katherine Ross Abendschein, 77, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave. Reverend Dr. Eddie Leopard will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Ms. Abendschein was born in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Harry F Ross, Sr. and Katherine Robertson Ross. She was a resident of Aiken since 1994. She was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church, the Rainbow Club, the Ladies Whittlers, Rainbow Choir and the Baker and Confectioners Union #429. Survivors include her daughter, Katherine A.Klingensmith, Alfred Station, NY; two grandchildren, Allister and Isaac Klingensmith; a brother, Harry F. Ross, Jr., Aiken; a sister, Eleanor German, La Massa, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Savannah River Cancer Foundation, P.O.
