Leon Louis Perre'

Mr. Leon Louis Perre' Sr. 90, passed away Friday October 10, 2008 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home. The son of the late Emile and Anna Seauzanau Perre' of Bay St. Louis, MS. He is Survived by his Loving wife of 63 years, Evelyn Zavala Perre'; five daughters Louise Fox, Orange Co., CA, Alida Line, Oakland, CA, Rebecca (Jim) Martin, Virginia City, NV, Anna Perre', Oakland, CA, Suzette (Rock) Slaughter, Aiken; three sons Richard (JO) Perre', LaVerne, CA, Leon Louis (Mary)Perre' Jr., Portland, OR, and Jon Perre', Aiken, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grand chlidern. Mr. Perre' was retired from both the Navy and Civil Service. A member of The Pearl Harbor Survivors Assoc., The Fleet Reserve,The NCO Club and The VFW. He was in 14 Battle Campaigns during his service in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, including surviving the attack on Pearl Harbor, HI. He was a member of St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held Monday October 13, at 3 p.m. at Shellhouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Marion Britton officiating Visitation will be Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. Friends may call at the residence. Internment will be private at Sunset Memorial at a later date. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
