AIKEN – Mrs. Ann Lynn Fannon Samples, 69, died Monday, October 13, 2008 in Augusta, GA. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Brancie Stephens will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Samples was born in Cumberland, MD, a daughter of the late John Francis and Thelma Stonebreaker Fannon. She was a resident of Aiken since 1951, and was a homemaker. Survivors include her beloved husband, John B. Samples; a daughter, Deborah Lynn Samples, Jacksonville, NC; a son, John B. Samples, Jr., Harrisburg, VA; two sisters, Patricia Fannon (Dixon) Kilbourne, Wilmington, NC, Jacqueline Elizabeth Fannon, Columbia, SC.
