Hazel Vaughn West

Aiken- Mrs. Hazel Vaughn West, 80, died November 4, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, November 6, 2008 from the graveside in Green Pond Cemetery, Woodruff, SC. Reverend Carol Waddell will officiate. Mrs. West was born in Woodruff, SC to the late Alexzander and Minnie Phillips Vaughn. She was a homemaker and mother, and member of Crestview Baptist Church in Woodruff. She was an avid gardener and grew beautiful roses. Survivors include Danny West and his wife Mary Scott West of Seneca S.C., and Susan West Hallman and her husband Thomas L Hallman of Aiken, S.C.; three grandchildren, John Michael West, David Thomas Hallman and Caroline Amanda Hallman. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clyde E. West.
