Vada Santrock Rollins

Aiken, SC – Mrs. Vada Lee Santrock Rollins, 79, entered into rest Dec. 27, 2014 at home. Loving wife of Grady Gene Rollins. She was born in Gallia Co. OH to the late Homer and Vada Deal Santrock. She moved to Aiken in 1953 and was a retired manager in the industrial field, former member of Highland Park Golf Club where she won many golf tournaments, and a member of Milllbrook Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family said she wasn’t happy if she wasn’t moving. Survivors besides her husband include her daughters, Vicki ( Dave) Clerc, and Rowena Harris (Joe) Boozer, Jr. of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Nicole (Ryan) Hicks and Will Jackson; great grandchildren, Grady Hicks, Colton Hicks and Arley Jackson; sisters, Helen Burnside, Hometown, WV, Jackie Rollins, Aiken, SC and a brother Charles Santrock, Yorktown, VA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, Dec. 29 at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Chris Masters officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Rick Moseley, Christian Zorn and Christopher Lawson. Memorials may be directed to Millbrook Baptist Church, 223 South Aiken Blvd., Aiken, SC 29803.
