John Stanley Hoover

AIKEN, SC – JOHN STANLEY HOOVER, 78, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at his residence. A native of Winnsboro, SC, John was a son of the late Belton H. and Sallie Driggers Hoover. He lived most of his adult life in Augusta, GA prior to moving to Aiken last year. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired millwright. Survivors include a sister, Mary Beard, Aiken; two brothers, Belton (Ruby) Hoover, North Augusta, and Jack (Joan) Hoover, Warrenville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Angalee Brittingham and a brother, Lewis Hoover. A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon, January 24, 2015 at 1 o'clock  at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev.
