Kenneth Lee Hardin

AIKEN, SC - KENNETH LEE HARDIN, 78, beloved husband of Rita C. Hardin, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at his home. A native of Delaware, OH, Ken was a son of the late Kenneth C. and Ethel Louise McBride Hardin. He was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He had lived in Aiken since 1975 and was a retired realtor. Ken was an avid horseman, he was past president of the Aiken Driving Club, a polo player and a member of and former announcer for the Aiken Polo Club. Survivors, in addition to his wife, Rita, include a daughter, Shelli Day of Aiken and a sister, Kay Harris (Urlin) of Delaware, OH. Funeral services will be held Friday, the 30th of January 2015 at 4:30 in the afternoon at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
