Swint Edward Bradberry. Sr.

AIKEN – Mr. Swint Edward Bradberry, Sr., 92, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 11 at South Aiken Church of God, and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bruce Fox and Pastor Kenneth Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Terry Mise, Mike Barker, Steve Meador, Floyd Carithers, Ken Bell, Gene Peavler, Nathaniel Rushton and Alan Harrelson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Ambassador Sunday School Class. Mr. Bradberry was born in Boaz, AL, a son of the late John Jefferson and Flora Moman Bradberry. He had been a resident of Aiken since 1952, and was the owner of Bradberry’s Jewelry for 62 years. He was a member of South Aiken Church of God. He will be missed deeply by his wife of over 70 years, Elizabeth; his son, Porky (Connie), Aiken; three grandsons, Bryan Bradberry, Aiken, David Charles Bradberry, West Palm Beach, FL, Zachary (Michelle) Davis, Graniteville; and adopted daughter Sherrie Stewart. He was preceded in death by a son, David Carlton Bradberry, a grandson, Keith Wayne Bradberry, a sister, seven brothers, and his loving dog, Waffle.
