Cecil Rhea Snyder, Jr.

AIKEN, SC – CECIL RHEA SNYDER, JR., 77, beloved husband of Isabella Lewis Snyder, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. A native of Marion, VA, Mr. Snyder was a son of the late Cecil Rhea and Susie Williams Snyder, Sr. He had lived in Aiken for 54 years and was a retired supervisor with DuPont at the Savannah River Plant. Cecil was a member of Levels Baptist Church and was also a member of the Aiken Masonic Lodge # 156. Survivors, in addition to his wife Isabella, include two daughters, Donna A. Fulmer, Williston, SC and Hope (Marty) Young of Lake Wateree, SC, seven grandchildren, Angie Eanes, Marc Greene, Rebekah Fulmer, Sarah Smith, Susie Costner, Amy Fogle and Christian Young, and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM at Levels Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Scales officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Gene Pierce, Marc Greene, John Fogle, Dwayne Eanes, Russell Smith and Chris Costner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Taylor, Dewey Booth, Waymon Corley, Ted Johnson, Charlie Dorsey, Barry Pierce and James Skidmore.
