AIKEN, SC – WILLIAM HAMILTON “BIP” BOUKNIGHT II, 63, died Friday, February 27, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Greenwood, SC, Bip was a son of the late William Hamilton and Roxy Jordan Bouknight. He moved with his family to Aiken County in the early 1950’s and grew up in New Ellenton. He was a graduate of Aiken High School, Class of 1969. Bip’s career took him all over the world working as project manager for companies in commercial construction and maintenance.
Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Bouknight Wingard (Jonathan), Aiken; son, Austin Bouknight (Randi), Graniteville; wife, Karen Farrer Bouknight, Aiken; grandchildren, Nathan and Molly Boukinight; sister, Beryl Arbaugh (Ronnie), New Ellenton; brothers, Jordan Bouknight, Aiken and Terry Bouknight, New Ellenton.
A memorial service and celebration of Bip’s life will be Wednesday at 5:00 PM at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
