AIKEN – Michael McKay Melton, Jr. 3 year old son of Michael and Nicole Hylla Melton, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home chapel, with the Reverend Dr. Chris Masters and the Reverend Dr. Phillip Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Steven Loftin, Mike Garvin, Robert Hylla, Charles Sitler, Andrew Sitler and Ryan Melton. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his half sisters, Serenity Cardenas and Rayah Ludwig; half brothers, Ruben Cardenas and Tristan Hylla; maternal grandparents, Tammy (Rick) Perea, California, Frank Hylla, Oregon; paternal grandparents, Don and Marilyn Melton, Aiken.
