AIKEN, SC – BETTY L. ALEXANDER, 83, widow of James Floyd Alexander, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home.
A native of Greenville, TN, Betty was a daughter of the late Robert Leroy and Fannie Matilda McDonald Hensley. She moved to Aiken in the early 1950’s, was a homemaker and a member of Millbrook Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Darrah Lynn Granger; a son, Daniel Wade Alexander; two grandsons, Jonathan Granger and Jason Granger, all of Aiken; two sisters, Patricia Lee Samsel and Margaret Rebecca Clark, both of Woodstock, GA.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
A private graveside service will be held Friday at Aiken Memorial Gardens.
