Minnie Snelling Willing

AIKEN – Mrs. Minnie Snelling Willing, 92, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Reverend J.B. Redd and the Reverend Taylor Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Flowers, Troy Willing, Bruce Willing, Randy Snellings, Dean Snelling, and David Willing. Mrs. Willing was born in Graniteville, a daughter of the late Alvie and Ruby Cortez Snelling. She was a homemaker, member of Shiloh Baptist Church, and the Joy Group. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Willing (Gary) Flowers, Charleston, SC; a son, Larry (Cathy) Willing, Aiken; four grandchildren, Jimmy (Judy) Flowers, Troy Willing, Elissa Flowers, Bruce (Alaena) Willing; great grandchildren, Trevor Willing, Hannah Pulaski, Keith Pulaski, Anna Willing and Clark Willing; a sister, Adelene Hite, Aiken; and special friends, Nell McGee and Ann Westbrook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenwood Willing; three brothers, Kenneth Snelling, Alvie Snelling and Herbert Snellings. Memorials may be directed to Shiloh Baptist Church, 3925 Shiloh Church Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
