Janet Merle Canaday Johnson

AIKEN, SC- JANET MERLE CANADAY JOHNSON, 59, beloved wife of the late Herbert Johnson, died Thursday, April 23, 2015. A native of Beckly, WV, Janet was born to the parents of Marie Francis Lilly Canaday and Jessie Canaday. She has been a resident of Aiken for 30 years and a member of Redds Branch Baptist Church. She was employed by Walmart. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Shellhouse- Rivers Fueral Home with The Reverend Tim Nardi Officiating. Interment will follow in Redds Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service. Survivors include her 3 sisters, Katherine Marie Bowling of Grafton, OH, Jacqueline Willimas of Aiken, SC, and Lydia McKinney of Beckly, WV; 3 brothers, Jesse Canaday of Warrenville, SC, Jackie Walker Canaday of Elyria, OH, and Joseph Calvin Canaday of McDonough, NY.
