Born in Manhasset, Long Island, NY, Glenn was born January 3, 1961 and baptized March 19, 1961 at St. Mary’s Church. He grew up in Levittown and was known as “A Good Kid” in his hometown, where he ran track and played soccer and had perfect attendance. He graduated from Levittown Memorial Senior High School, June 24, 1979 and joined the United States Army Signal Corps and received many Letters of Achievement for his service in training operations, serving honorably at Fort Gordon, GA; Texas and Germany.

Glenn married Julia Pierce March 4, 1995 at Redcliffe Plantation. Julia knew from the first minute she saw him in action, serving people in Hilton Head that she was going to spend her life with him. They’ve been together since their first date March 1, 1993 and he was always there for her in service. Glenn was routinely remembered by those who love him for being “super funny” while also being an aggravator. Glenn was an animal lover, always taking in strays, Buddie, Bear Bear and his latest rescue Kiera Lou. He was a beachcomber, collector, original American picker “Let’s go Tiquing”. He loved his family dearly with a servant’s heart. “Let the Queen know from Kalamazoo Landing, her car goes in on Monday”.
