Walter Karl Sirrenberg

AIKEN, SC - Walter Karl Sirrenberg, 75, beloved husband of Gisela Sirrenberg, entered into rest on May 19, 2015. Walter was born August 31, 1939 in Wuppertal, Germany to Emil and Ruth Sirrenberg. Survived by wife, Gisela, son, Stefan, daughter, Andrea, and two sisters along with his beloved dog, Katie. He married Gisela on February 22, 1980. His passion was driving and training horses. He was an eight time German Champion of Four In Hand driving. He immigrated to America in 1983. He began his American horse training career in Amesbury, Massachusetts. He trained horses all along the East Coast but was most appreciated and respected in Aiken, South Carolina. He always stated that he never wanted to train people, he wanted to train only their horses. A celebration of life will be given on Wednesday May 27th from 6-8 pm at his residence.
