Mary Eunice Sizemore

AIKEN – Mrs. Mary Eunice Johnson Sizemore, 85, wife of the late James Sizemore, Jr., died Wednesday, January 7, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, Aiken First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Fred Andrea, III officiating. Family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be private at Talatha Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Sizemore was a lifelong resident of Aiken and former owner and director of Cottage Nursery. She was a member of Aiken First Baptist Church and Outreach Leader Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Town & Country Garden Club, Pilot Club International where she served as Past State Governor and Meals on Wheels. Survivors include a daughter; Judy (David) Ostendorff, Greenville, SC; son James Sizemore, III, Prosperity, SC; grandchildren, Kenneth Kevin (Jennifer) Clarke; great grandchildren, Katherine Grace Clarke, Elizabeth Ann Clarke; sister Pearl Googe, Fairfax, SC. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Tamassee DAR School, P.O. Box 8, Tamassee, SC, 29686.
