James E. Drips

BATH, SC – Mr. James E. “Tony” Drips, 68, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at his residence. A kind, gentle man and loving father and grandfather that will be deeply missed my his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday Feb. 7th in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave. Reverend Wes Holbrook will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Honorary pallbearers will be John and George Nagelschmidt, and Donna Eckburg. Mr. Drips was born in Twin Falls, ID, a son of the late Victor Dewey and Irene Darr Drips. He was a resident of the Aiken area since 1997 and was a carpenter. Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Butch) Powers, Phoenix, AZ, April (John) Eckburg, Aiken; three sons, Danny Drips, Idaho Falls, ID, Phil Seldon, Idaho Falls, Shane Drips, Aiken; eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren; a brother, John (Lois) Drips, McCall, ID; his former wife, Joan N. Drips, New York, in laws, John, George and Donna Nagelschmidt, all of New York; neices, Heidi Nagelschmidt, Kathleen Mustard (Doug) and nephews, John Drips (Katherine), David Drips (Sol), John Nagelschmidt, ; a sister in law, Lynn Drips, Sandy, UT; close friend, Pamela Baxley. In addition to his parents, a brother, Bob Drips, and a grandson Tommy Drips preceded him in death.
